Cashew Milk

Updated: Nov 28, 2019

A super simple recipe and formula: Cashews + water + blending = cashew milk.

Makes 4 cups

  • 1 cup raw cashews

  • 4 cups water

  1. In a high speed blender, add cashews and water and pulse on high until smooth.

This typically takes only 30 seconds. Lift the lid to make sure all cashew bits have been blended and if not, continue to blend.

Store in an airtight container and use within three days.

Step by Step

Do we really need a step by step for such a simple recipe? 😁

Well yeah, it's helpful to see things in steps even for the most simple of things. So here we go...

1. Get your supplies: raw cashews and blender

Cashews come in different forms - roasted, seasoned and so much more. Make sure the ones you use for this recipe are raw (whether whole or in bits).

2. Pop them in the blender along with 4 cups of water (or if you only want to make 2 cups of cashew milk, use 1/2 cup cashews and 2 cups of fresh water).

3. Blend on high and check periodically until no small cashew bits are left. Enjoy!
