I bought a 5-day reset (fasting package) a while ago but couldn't start it. However, when Jamie reached out to me I thought it was a sign. I absolutely loved your eating plan for this 5-day fast - we ate real, delicious food and though it was, of course, low-calorie amounts I never really felt deprived or hungry (after the 1st day). The avocado and olives were wonderful "treats" for breakfast and lunch. As I said on the zoom call yesterday, I wondered whether I was really in the fasting state because I never felt hungry (just a little low energy). I appreciated Anna's comment that her husband never felt hungry either, but that they were measuring his ketones and he was in the fasting state. And that's the other think I appreciated so much about this program. You took soooo much time to prepare us in advance with your YouTube videos and Fasting Guide, and then communicate with us daily, both by email and on zoom. The group conversations were so helpful. I've done the Prolon packaged version of the fasting mimicking diet several times, but it just can't compare to the fresh food recipes that Jamie had arranged to duplicate the nutritional macros of the packaged version. I enjoyed the fast, I loved the food and felt it was much easier to accomplish than the packaged Prolon version. The daily conference with Jamie and the rest of us fasters was fun and informative. Jamie's 5 day plan is very simple and easy to follow. All the ingredients are available in the local supermarket. The food was very tasty and didn't require a lot of cooking. Actually I enjoyed it more and more as the days went by. I have a lot of gut issues but my stomach was pleased with the included ingredients. Jamie is so nice and helpful.
